Artist of the month

Leonardo da Vinci

Leonardo da Vinci was a Renaissance painter that used light and dark colors to paint realistically. In addition to his most famous painting, The Mona Lisa, he also wrote music and drew pictures that explained how to build bridges and buildings. He was a philosopher, scientist, and inventor. He kept meticulous notes and spent years working on a single painting. Only 17 have survived and some of these are not finished.
